This blog is primarily maintained by William G. and Leo H., two men that have spent a combined 6+ decades as POST certified, and sworn, Peace Officers. Both have thousands of hours of documented training, and thousands more of training other peace officers, law enforcement, military, and free citizens in all manner of lawful use of defensive tools, proven tactics, and justified force options. They have further written policy, and instructor lesson plans at state and federal levels. All of that is to say, we have seen and been through a staggering array of situations. We certainly don’t have all the answers, but do have an extensive knowledge of what works, and what doesn’t.

We sincerely wish that our hard won knowledge, skills, and abilities, are of value and benefit to the law abiding men and women that are put in situations that are tense, uncertain, and rapidly evolving, so that they may prevail against evil, while upholding the United States Consitution, remaining within the parameters of the law, and showing reasonableness and empathy
